What is Social Response? This group of volunteers and community builders work to meet the needs of our neighbors with service and donation collecting.

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘…whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:37-40

At The Venues we believe that the best way to relate to people is to be in relationship with people. Social Response is not just one ministry of the church but is instead the heart of how the church forms a relationship with the greater community.

The Venues

The Venues church. A gathering of people based in Springfield, Missouri, that gathers together and then scatters out into our community to pursue and accomplish the spiritual and social ambition of Jesus Christ. We gather as a church to seek truth, follow Jesus and ask questions together so we can be “venues” through which the Holy Spirit expresses the life of Jesus. Our ultimate mission is to connect people through authentic relationships to experience the love and grace of Jesus.
