The organizations we are supporting this year:
Rescue One
Rescue One is a state-licensed, 501(c)(3), foster-based rescue located in Springfield, MO. All of the animals in our care live in foster homes until a forever home can be found. We rescue without regard to breed, age, or ease of placement. Our mission is not only to rescue animals in need, but to also educate the public on responsible pet ownership and help provide low cost spay/neuter for those in need of assistance.
CARE Animal Shelter
Castaway Animals Rescue Effort, otherwise known as C.A.R.E., is a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals. Established in 1992, C.A.R.E. has saved over 25,000 lives and we are still counting. From our humble grassroots beginnings, we have grown into southwest Missouri’s largest no-kill shelter. Operations are still overseen by founder and director, Melissa Sartin. Her compassion for all living creatures drives the organization forward.
Everyday we strive to ease the pain that victims of neglect and abuse endure, offering safety and hope, and finding them the homes they so richly deserve. We are proud to work alongside government agencies and other nonprofits making a difference in the lives of the animals we care so deeply about. Together we serve as a voice for those who cannot speak.
Isabel’s House
Isabel’s House’s Core Mission:
The prevention of child abuse and neglect in the Ozarks.
We Provide a safe, loving place for children ages 0-12 when their families face a crisis.
Our trained Child Advocates offer 24/7/365 care, while Family Advocates partner with parents and caregivers to build personalized plans that help restore stability and hope.
Every service we provide is designed to strengthen families and keep kids safe--because every child deserves a secure, nurturing home.
KVC- Missouri
KVC Missouri is dedicated to providing a wide range of programs and services in Springfield, Missouri. Our goal is to enrich and enhance the lives of children and families, ultimately transforming child welfare and mental healthcare in the state. With our comprehensive offerings, including family strengthening services, foster parent licensing, foster care case management, children’s mental healthcare, educational services, and more, we ensure that children can access the level of care they need as soon as they need it. From community-based support to intensive children’s mental health residential treatment programs, we are committed to meeting the diverse needs of every child.
Harmony House
Shelter, Advocacy & Education
The mission of Harmony House is to provide shelter, advocacy and education to survivors of domestic violence and promote the principle that all individuals have the right to a life free of abuse.
Unsheltered friends
From day one, The Venues has been dedicated to caring for our unsheltered friends — making sure they’re fed twice a week, have a warm place to stay through the winter months, and have access to donations year-round to help meet whatever other needs arise.
Crosslines (Families and Senior Citizens)
Your money will go toward getting Christmas gifts for children and families in need of a little help around the holidays. It will also go toward getting gifts for senior citizens who might not have family.
